Consultation on Proposals to Create Additionally Resourced Centres in Schools
Solihull Council is consulting on Proposals to create Additionally Resourced Centres to cater for pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and a pilot Social Emotional Mental Health Assessment Unit incorporating an outreach service for traveller children.
We are keen to hear you views on our proposals to create specialist provision for pupils diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). These additionally resourced centres (ARC) will be bespoke provision located at mainstream schools.
Four schools have been identified as preferred locations these are:
Alderbook Seconday School
Dickens heath Primary School
Langley Primary School
Windy Arbor Primary School
In addition we are exploring with Yew Tree Primary School a proposal to create a pilot Social Emotional mental Health (SEMH) assessment centre incorporating an outreach service providing support for traveller children.
