Have your Say on New Health Blueprint for Solihull
Solihull residents are being asked to have their say on a new strategy to improve the health of everybody living and working in the borough.
Solihull Council, Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group and voluntary sector organisations have produced a draft Health and Wellbeing Strategy, which sets out how local services will be improved over the next three years.
Solihull Council’s Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing, Councillor Bob Sleigh said: “It is really important that people share their views on our strategy as their feedback will help shape the plans for local health and social care services for the years ahead.
“We want everyone in our borough to be as healthy as possible, no matter their age or where they live. The strategy sets out how we think we can achieve just that – by working together to provide a more seamless service for residents, preventing illness and injury and intervening earlier when people do get ill to help them maintain maximum independence.”
People can read the draft strategy by visiting: www.solihull.gov.uk/akssolihull/images/att35131.doc and take part in a short online questionnaire by visiting: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/solhealth
The deadline for feedback is Friday 28 December 2012.
