Lions Help Construct School in Liberia
Lions from Castle Bromwich have joined with other Lions in the Midlands to build a school for children in Liberia. Fendall Village Primary School in West Africa currently caters for about 100 children from a bamboo structure. The Lions plan to replace the bamboo structure with a purpose built three classroom block complete with sanitation and toilet block which will house 150 children.
A comparatively small investment can make a major impact in improving life chances in countries such as Liberia. The new school facility will cost around £7000 and construction will be overseen by Lions Clubs in Liberia to ensure that every penny donated goes directly to the cause. Plans for the proposed construction can be found on the Lions 105M website.
