NHS Services Move into New Health Facility in North Solihull
Health services have begun moving into a newfacility in north Solihull. The new facility based above the new Bishop Wilson Church of England Primary School in Chelmunds Cross Village Centre, will provide a number of key primary care and specialist health services for local people.
A new community health clinic and centre for children and adolescent health services began moving in at the start of the month. Accommodation within the new facility includes consulting/meeting rooms, a specialist viewing room and staff spaces. The work to fit out the new facility has been funded by NHS England.
The health facility is part of a larger regeneration scheme of Chelmunds Cross Village Centre in north Solihull. The first stage of the scheme has seen a mixed use community facility built comprising of a new primary school, a new church (St Andrew’s), child care facility, an adult learning centre, a dedicated community space and health services. The wider regeneration scheme will see retail and office space, an enterprise centre, housing and public open spaces developed.
